Question: Do you give free, detailed, itemized quotes for the job?
Answer: Yep! We provide free, detailed, itemized quotes. We want to make sure you know exactly what is being spent on your project. It's important that you understand the details, and it's important for both of us to be aligned on the deliverable you want. That way everyone is happy. We like happy customers.
Question: Who takes care of getting the permits?
Answer: We do that for you so you don't have to.
Question: Do you ever subcontract out work?
Answer: We do. Because we are a marketplace, we connect you with one of our verified contractors who we believe would be the best partner for you. We've worked with these teams for a long time, know the quality of their work, and stand behind them. We help make sure that the level of customer service is top notch.
Question: Do you have architects in case we need one to draft the plans for project?
Answer: Yep. We can make an intro to the people we recommend. You can also find one on your own.
Question: Can I speak to some of your past customers as referrals?
Answer: Yep! We'll provide you with a full list of past customers. They've already said they'd be happy to speak with you and answer your questions.
Question: What information should I (the customer) have ready to tell you (Boston Renovation) when you call/email me back?
Answer: We'd like to know:

Answer: We serve any town within a 40 mile radius from Boston.
Question: Do you charge to have a contractor come out, tour the property, and provide a quote?
Answer: Nope. That's free of charge.
Question: When can you start?
Answer: We'll work with you to give you a good idea of when we can start and when we will finish the work. If there's ever an emergency (ex: water pipe burst, electrical fire issue, etc) feel free to call us and we'll try to get out there immediately.

- The type of room(s) you're looking to have worked on (Example: "Living Room, Bathroom, Bedrooms," etc)
- Your vision / what work you need done. (Example: "I want to completely remodel my kitchen. Here is what I'm thinking." Or, "I need to paint all rooms in my house. And I could use help picking colors, too.").
- Best days/times you are available for us to visit you at your home and see what you need done. (Example: "I'm home most mornings from 7 - 9 AM, most nights from 5 PM on, and this Saturday from 10 AM - 3 PM"). We'll help work around your schedule. We'll never, ever give you a wide time frame that we'll be there. That's annoying to customers and we don't do that.
- Where you are located, so we know where to go.
- Timeline. (Example: "I would like this done by the end of September b/c we are having our baby then.")
